Justin Wyles

Justin Wyles, Cross Country Head Coach

Coach Justin Wyles became the Head Girls Basketball coach at Lavaca in 2016. Coach Wyles was a High School ALE facilitator from 2016-2021, and he now teaches US History, Sociology, and World Geography in grades 9-12. Coach Wyles was the assistant softball coach until 2018, and has since coached Cross Country.

Coach Wyles is a graduate of Lamar High School (2001). He continued his education at Arkansas Tech University where he earned a BA in Sociology (2005) and a BS in Health/PE (2013), and then proceeded to obtain his Master’s in Educational Leadership (2020) from Arkansas State University.

Coach Wyles is married to his wife Sarah and together they have two children, Brooks and Emma Kate.

Nick Stovall

Nick Stovall, Track Coach

Coach Stovall started coaching in Lavaca in 2021, where he serves as offensive coordinator for the football team, coaches track, and teaches ALE Social Studies at the High School.  Prior to being employed in Lavaca he was the offensive coordinator and head track coach at Waldron Public Schools for 6 years.  

Coach Stovall is a graduate of Greenwood High School (2009).  He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BS in Health/Pe in 2013, and from Arkansas State University with a Masters in Education Leadership in 2018.  

He married Hannah Stovall in August of 2013, and has three children: Eden, Gideon, and Micah.

Renner Reed

Renner Reed, Track Coach

Coach Reed has been coaching at Lavaca since 2012, with previous coaching stops at Greenwood and Watson Chapel. He is the head boys basketball coach and assistant track. He is a graduate from Arkansas Tech University and received his masters of education at Arkansas State University.

Coach Reed is married to Canon Reed and they have two children, Gus And Emet Grace. 

Shannon Todaro

Shannon Todaro, Track Coach

Coach Shannon Todaro joined Lavaca High School in 2011 as the Library Media Specialist. After volunteering with the volleyball team for a couple years, she joined the coaching staff as assistant volleyball and girls track coach in 2016.  In 2019, she became the head volleyball and girls track coach. The LHS volleyball team has been State Runner-up three times (2020, 2021, and 2022) and made it to State Semi-Finals two times (2021, 2022).

Coach Todaro graduated from Lavaca High School in 1987. Prior to becoming an educator, Coach Todaro attended Westark Community College and received her Associates of Applied Science and Surgical Technology Certification. 

Coach Todaro is married to Rob Todaro and together they have 3 children, Anthony (wife Madison), Joseph (wife Mariah), and Anna, 2 grandchildren - Silas and Lauren, and one more on the way.
